Well, it has finally happened, we are in June! The summer season has officially begun and the sun has come out especially for the double bank holiday weekend, something which I never thought I would see happen… But it being June, means that it is time to start planning for Plastic-Free July! Not sure what that means? Read on to find out…
What is Plastic-Free July?
Plastic-Free July is essentially exactly what it says on the tin. It is a challenge that takes place throughout the course of the whole month of July, encouraging participators to make their lives plastic-free for the month. The hope is of course that by doing the hard bit and finding all your plastic-free alternatives in July, you will be able to continue incorporating many of these changes into your daily life well beyond the end of the challenge.

Micellar Water and Toner
The Valley Mist Micellar Water and Toner comes in a total of five varieties:
- Normal – Dry skin with calming, grounding notes of neroli and lavender (we know there’s no such thing as normal, but most of us tend to have skin on the drier side).
- Combination skin with refreshing, invigorating notes of witch hazel, lemon and geranium.
- Oily-Prone Skin with uplifting tea tree, lemongrass and juniper.
- Men’s Combination Skin with a witch hazel and black pepper kick (all of our micellar waters are unisex, but this one has a scent that is slightly more masculine).
- Men’s Wood Cleansing Water for all Skin Types with notes of earthy sandalwood and black pepper.
Lip Balm
Valley Mist’s original product and still our most popular today. Baby Balm
Another all-time favourite is the Valley Mist Baby Balm. Formulated as a gentle but effective, protective and soothing skin balm the baby balm suits a multitude of uses, from promoting healing in dry and damaged skin to help to soothe eczema and other dry skin conditions. Our Baby Balm is also formulated to be safe for use on baby’s skin and is an excellent go-to to keep in the cupboard.
