September the 12th to the 14th 2021 the Wellness Zone.
Huge thanks to those of you who braved our first and last show of 2021. Just three short days, but even now, three days after the event I am still feeling exhausted after the intense build up of what was an amazing event for us.
This was our third time at Top Drawer, we had originally signed up to the September 2020 event but for obvious reasons it rolled over to 2021. Definitely the show was worth the wait. Top Drawer promises a full range of buying visitors for those of us exhibiting there and true to their word, we did indeed meet many people from all over the country including those big name companies you expect to hear have made a visit but might not have seen your stand.
Let me tell you as a small independent business it is no small investment and undertaking to be at a show like this.
Chloe and I (and our behind the scenes support) had a wonderful time in London. The air felt much cleaner, streets did not seem as busy and people were so friendly. We booked an Air B&B and had the comfort of a stylish and roomy apartment- it was just perfect. It meant that we could make fresh lunches and eat breakfast as we would at home. Food- We love food. We always go to The Warwick Arms when we are in London; Just delicious Indian food in a traditional pub setting.
How was the show?
- I felt very safe given this was pretty much the first time we’d been anywhere except for visiting family, the Valley Mist Lab & Shop. The spacing was much more generous between rows. It did feel like there were less visitors compared to previous years … but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
- We did get to meet many prestigious companies, all were very complimentary about the Valley Mist skincare range.
- Our candles went down so well! Everyone particularly loved my favourite – The bay, lime and lemongrass upcycled aromatherapy candle.
- The absolute hits of the show for us were as always the original lip balms (they are charity lip balms) and our organic baby skincare range.
Will we go again next year? I don’t know yet. Either way, we loved the September Top Drawer 2021. I’m super pleased we went.
