A Lovely Piece of News
We are delighted to share a lovely piece of news: Valley Mist has been named Leading Plastic-Free & Natural Skincare Products 2026 – UK in the Global Excellence Awards 2026. The award is listed on GHP News's independent winner page.
What makes this recognition particularly meaningful is that we did not enter the awards or pay to be considered. Valley Mist was selected independently, which came as a wonderful surprise during an especially busy year for the business.
Natural Skincare, Made Thoughtfully
Valley Mist was founded around a simple belief: skincare should be natural, effective and thoughtfully made.
From our Lancashire studio, we create our products in small batches using carefully chosen botanical oils, butters, plant extracts and essential oils. Small-batch production allows us to stay close to every stage of the process, from formulation and making through to filling and finishing.
We do not claim that every Valley Mist product is completely plastic-free. Instead, we continue to focus on low-impact packaging, predominantly glass containers, and reducing avoidable plastic wherever practical.
Glass Packaging Designed to Be Returned
Glass has been central to Valley Mist packaging for many years, but recycling alone has never felt like the complete answer.
Our National Glass Return System gives customers the opportunity to return eligible empty Valley Mist bottles and jars so they can be cleaned and reused. Customers returning five like-for-like containers receive a free like-for-like product in recognition of their effort.
Refill options are also available for selected products, including our Rejuvenating Frankincense Facial Oil and LL Glow Moisturising Serum, allowing customers to reuse pumps and pipettes rather than replacing them unnecessarily.
Improving Rather Than Standing Still
This award arrives while Valley Mist is going through a substantial rebrand.
We are refreshing our labels, strengthening the way our product families work together and improving the clarity of our packaging and product information. We are also continuing to develop our website following its move to Shopify, making it easier for customers to understand each formula, choose the right product and learn how our packaging return system works.
The appearance of Valley Mist may be changing, but the values beneath it remain the same: carefully formulated natural skincare, handmade in small batches, with an ongoing commitment to reducing unnecessary environmental impact.
